TILAPIA ICE CREAM


Yes!, That swishy wishy fish popularly cooked and served in the dining table was also a flavor for the ice cream locally developed by educators from the Central Luzon State University (CLSU) in Nueva Ecija.

CHILI ICE CREAM


What would the fiery chilies taste on your tongue if it turned into a cold sweet spicy treat.
In the Bicolandia, chilies were prized crop that there was even a saying that townsfolk in the Bicol region would even protect the chili plant with stilts to strengthen them during the storm. Thus, it was but just ordinary that chilies were put in every recipe and food eaten by the Bicolanos. And so, chilies were also served as dessert and appetizer such as the chili flavored ice cream.

ALOE VERA ICE CREAM


The extract from this succulent plant was a soothing gel for the skin and scalp and was a popular ingredient for lotion, shampoos and soaps. But the oozing gel of the aloe vera can likewise be soothing to your palette as it cools you down once eaten as an ice cream.

CACTUS ICE CREAM


Another succulent plant made great into a refreshing ice cream dessert. Using the agave variety of the cactus plant was likewise succulent and can be a delectable ice cream flavor without those prickly thorny things.

PINE NEEDLE/SPRUCE ICE CREAM


The majestic pine tree may not only be a source of tall shade during the summer. But pine needle or pine spruce ice cream was a cold delicacy even in the coldest regions of the world.
